I trained at London University - B.Mus (Hons) -

The Royal Academy of Music - ARAM - and

The Juilliard School New York - American Opera Centre.

I was first British winner of The New York Oratorio Society International Soloist Competition at Carnegie Hall, and have appeared in Opera Houses and Concert Halls around the world. I have sung as a principal artist with Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, Scottish Opera, The Glyndebourne Festival,

The Royal Opera House at the New York Metropolitan and Maggio Musicale Florence, as well as with

The London Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonia, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Nash Ensemble, The London Sinfonietta and many other international ensembles and orchestras.

I have over 20 years teaching experience.

As a teacher and vocal coach I have worked with singers throughout Europe, The Far East and Russia, in a wide range of styles. I have also given masterclasses in many countries – my last masterclasses in Russia were broadcast live on Russian television.
